Meet 12 year old Molly who visited the Cullompton practice,to be examined by one of the nurses in our new ‘Creaky Clinic’. Molly was so well behaved, even when having her blood pressure checked! She was checked over and looks very well for her age.

As our pets grow older they are at an increased risk of developing several common age- related diseases. These include kidney disease, diabetes mellitus, dental disease and arthritis.

The older pet population in the United Kingdom is increasing all the time. The signs of age-related diseases can develop slowly over a period of time, sometimes going unnoticed. Early detection of these diseases mean steps can be taken to slow their progression and continue a good quality of life.

The nurse will advise you on topics such as feeding, weight, dental care, flea and worm treatment. These topics will be individually tailored to your pet, to ensure their health is maximised and their quality of life is maintained for as long as possible. A free urine test and blood sample check is also included within this clinic.
