Animal Health Certificate
If you decide to take your pet on holiday to Europe an AHC is the replacement for the old Pet Passport, the British version of the Pet Passports are no longer valid, and we cannot sign or stamp them.

An AHC needs to be completed within the 10 days prior to your travel date.
We need to scan your pet to confirm the microchip number, an AHC with an individual number can then be completed, this is a long and complicated process that requires at least 45 minutes to do. Only some of our vets are qualified to complete Animal Health Certificates as a special course is required to be completed to certify them.
The certificate requires a signature by the vet and by the person taking the pet abroad, if this is not you (the owner) then a different certificate is needed. The current cost of this certificate is £180.00 with an additional £25 for each extra pet (up to 5 on one certificate).
