Insurance & Payment

We strongly recommend pet insurance. It provides peace of mind and financial help, should your pet require surgery, hospitalisation or ongoing medical care.

We recommend ‘Covered for Life’ policies from Petplan as this provides a comprehensive level of cover for illness and injury for the lifetime of your pet. For more details visit their website.

We give 4 weeks free insurance cover with Petplan to all puppies and kittens at the time of their vaccinations. This provides you with peace of mind for the first month, whilst you choose a policy that is suitable for you and your pet.

There are many other insurance policies to choose from, look for the one that provides the best level of care for your pet. Always check the small print for any exclusions and to check whether the policy provides lifelong or annual cover.

If you are unsure what a policy will cover, or you need more general advice give us a ring or call in for a chat. We will be happy to help.

Payment terms and conditions

Vale-Vets-_MG_5901_328x498.jpgWe ask that you pay at the time of your appointment or on collection of your pet following an operation. We accept cash, cheques (supported by a valid banker’s card), debit, and most major credit cards.

We can provide you with estimates of cost for any consultations, procedures tests or treatments upon request. We understand that sometimes costs are a concern, so we will keep you informed at all times. Often there will be a variety of options with differing levels of cost, which we will discuss with you.

If you are ever concerned about costs, please talk to us. Our aim is to find the best solution for you and your pet at all times.
